Second Lady Allison Patrick is a lifelong Kentuckian with a commitment to helping improve the quality of life for all citizens across the Commonwealth. Born in Lexington and raised in our capital city, Frankfort, the Second Lady comes from a large, extend family originally from Salyersville, Kentucky. Allison has been involved in community service her entire life, volunteering with numerous local groups including Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army and Special Olympics. Mrs. Mongiardo also is committed to her church community, having taught vacation bible school and participated in a mission trip to Romania. Allison is especially passionate about pediatric health and has joined forces with the Lieutenant Governor to fight childhood obesity here in the Commonwealth.
Allison received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky. She is an avid and award-winning golfer, outdoor enthusiast and traveler.
